Brazil legend Ronaldo Nazario believes Lionel Messi will still play a key role in leading Argentina to the 2026 World Cup.
Leo led the Albiceleste to achieve the ultimate goal of winning the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, but since then he has not guaranteed that he will lead the team to defend the title in next year's World Cup to be held in the United States, Canada and Mexico. But R9 believes that Messi will lead the team to the field in the biggest tournament and be a key player for the team even at the age of 40.
